THE 1 MILLION DOLLAR BLOCK CLUB
Our mission is to place 1 Million dollars of life insurance on every block in metropolitan communities and surrounding areas. The strength of our 1 Million Dollar Block Club lies in dispelling old beliefs about life insurance helping African Americans use life insurance to protect income and to build multigenerational wealth. Our challenge lies in helping African Americans be wealth creators, instead of wealth spenders.

Despite having a purchasing power of nearly 1 trillion, the African American community is risk-averse and sadled with debt, generally speaking. Compared to other cultural markets, African Americans lag in entrepreneurship and land ownership. Our community has come to thrive on instant gratification associated with spending it's wealth, and seems to have dismissed the long term benefits of collectively creating wealth, financial education, higher college graduation rates, more business and homeownership, and larger endowments for our churches and institutions of higher learning
The African American community is worth more than it realizes. It is time to begin protecting our human capital, building multigenerational wealth, and changing the financial landscape for future generations. As of July 2008, Syrkett Financial Solutions has pledged to help empower the communities we serve by raising awareness about the value of insurance planning and the importance of creating legacies for our children.
